Fotosport
Much more than photography, much more than sport.
The first precedent of Fotosport was established in 1954, when the Club Natació Reus Ploms convened the I Saló Nacional de Fotografia Esportiva. Later the call of proposals was extended to 1970, when the first edition of Fotosport was formed. Since then, we have remained faithful to our meeting which is held every two years.
The word FOTOSPORT is an acronym that reflects the willingness to capture the essence of sport through the art of photography. Indeed, photographs recognized in our biennial manage to give meaning to this acronym.
Be carried away by the expressive strength of images that express will, effort, tenacity, resistance, improvement, emotion and happiness, but also sadness, sportspeople disappointment, as well as the audience’s enthusiasm and lost of hope when encouraging their idols.
The eye of the enthusiastic photographer captures the most important moments of sportspeople masterfully reflected in expressive and high-quality images.
